Do Push-Ups Enlarge Your Breasts?

Women are often interested in the ways in which certain exercises can affect the shape and size of her breasts. If you want to lift your breasts naturally, chest exercises, such as push-ups, can increase the thickness of the pectoral muscles, which can sometimes result in slightly heavier breasts. However, since breasts are formed from fatty tissues, the breast exercises themselves will not increase the actual size of the breast tissue.

Pectoral exercises for women

Push-ups can help enlarge the pectoral muscles, but if you really want to improve your chest, include a variety of exercises that target all the chest muscles. These include the pectoralis major, pectoralis minor and sternum. Press with inclined dumbbells, flat bench press and dumbbell crucifix are effective exercises to improve your pectorals and create a bust potentially more full and firm. Pulley crossing, TRX push-ups and medicine ball throws will also work and improve your balance and coordination.
