Dragon Breathing Technique

Dragon Breathing Technique

Dragon breathing is a very simple exercise that will tone muscles of the abdomen while you exhale and flex the greater rectus muscle with force. If you exercise this technique continuously for a long period, the dragon's breathing will increase and better define your abdominal muscles. Also the relationship between mind and muscles will be narrower, the moment you begin to feel that your abdomen increases its flexion and strength as you exhale, which will make you feel a more centered body and a greater relationship with your mind.

Breathe. Inhale deeply to fill your lungs almost to its maximum capacity, as if you were preparing to hold your breath for a prolonged period of time.

Purses the lips to contain the air. According to the Fitness Black Book website, the key to this exercise is that it will be difficult to keep the air out once you start to exhale.

Exhale while flexing your abdominal muscles. The exhalation should be strong and should last between 5 and 10 seconds. It must be easier to flex the abdominal muscles as the air leaves your lungs, so you must flex them more strongly from the moment you start to exhale.

Repeat the exercise once or twice, although a large number of repetitions are not necessary to achieve the dragon's breathing. This exercise can be done every day, since it has little risk of muscle breakdown caused by cortisol, a hormone that according to the Think Muscle website, is one of the main reasons why hard exercise is not beneficial, nor does it lead to muscle development. In any case, the hormone slows muscle growth and, therefore, its development.

Council
