Although many of your gymmates prefer to run on the treadmill, do not be embarrassed if you prefer exercise you walking. Walking not only burns calories, but also promotes the strengthening of your muscles and bones, improves your resistance and reduces your anxiety. You can walk for hours every week without it being too much exercise, as long as your body does not tell you that you need to rest.
Try one hour a day
Depending on the goals of physical training, adults should perform at least 150 to 300 minutes per week of moderate cardiovascular exercise, such as walking. Overcoming 150 minutes a day helps you maintain your weight and doing more than 300 minutes can make you lose weight. Assuming you want to set aside two days of the week to rest, your daily treadmill workouts should last 30 to 60 minutes in general. Doing much more exercise than recommended can represent excessive training, whose main symptoms are lethargy and muscle pain.
