This BMI indicates that the average adult men and women are overweight, but they are not obese. To be considered obese, your BMI must be 30 or higher. A man with a BMI of 28, 6 could be 5 feet 9 inches tall and weigh 194 pounds. A woman with a BMI of 28, 7 could have a height 5 feet and 5 inches with a weight of 172, 5 pounds.
